Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU) Delegation Visits SCME, NUST

The School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), NUST, had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Azerbaijan Technical University (AZTU) during their official visit to NUST from September 30 to October 4, 2025.

As part of the visit, the delegation met with SCME faculty and researchers on October 2, 2025, to discuss potential avenues for academic and research collaboration. The SCME team provided a comprehensive overview of the School’s core research strengths, including materials science, chemical process innovation, and industry-linked R&D initiatives.

During the discussions, the AZTU delegation expressed keen interest in establishing joint research programs in advanced materials, sustainable energy systems, and environmentally focused technologies. Both sides also explored opportunities for joint publications, student mobility programs, and collaborative industrial projects.
