Prof. Dr. Axel Klein Delivers Seminar at SCME, NUST

The School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), NUST, had the pleasure of hosting Prof. Dr. Axel Klein from the University of Cologne, Germany, for a seminar titled “Functionalizing Thiosemicarbazones for Biomedical Applications.” The talk provided an in-depth overview of emerging molecular design strategies and their growing relevance in biomedical research, offering valuable insights to faculty members, researchers, and students.

In addition to the seminar, Prof. Klein held an interactive session with SCME faculty to discuss potential areas of collaboration. The discussion focused on future joint research initiatives, faculty–faculty academic linkages, and opportunities for student engagement across both institutions.
