The School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), NUST successfully organized the Workshop on Advanced Materials for Energy Storage and Conversion Technologies (AMEST 2025) on October 28, 2025. The event brought together around 60 participants, including students, researchers, and professionals from academia and industry.

The one-day workshop featured expert lectures, live demonstrations, and hands-on training sessions focused on nanomaterials for batteries, supercapacitors, metal–air systems, and solar cells. Renowned speakers shared insights into emerging trends in energy storage and conversion technologies, while participants gained practical exposure to advanced characterization techniques.

The workshop concluded with an interactive discussion on future collaboration and innovation opportunities in sustainable energy materials research.
