Instruction and Guidelines for Students

 

  1. Registration/ Confirmation of Participation
    1. Student should confirm their participation by sending scanned copy of fee deposit slip/ challan form and registration form duly filed (Attached) on School email address i.e. [email protected] by 26 Sep 2026.
    2. Each graduating student to deposit 7000/- (Seven Thousand only) in HBL, NUST Account no. PK07 HABB 0022927917599601 of title NUST SCME FUND as degree processing fee through bank deposit and online transfer.
  2. Master Convocation Ceremony Schedule on 19 October 2026 will be held for award of Medals/ degrees/ certificates to:-
    1. All PhD Scholars notified upto 30 Sep 2026.
    2. President’s Gold Medal Winner, UG Programs.
    3. Chancellor’s Silver Medal Winner, UG Programs.
    4. International students UG, MS & PhD.
  3. SCME/SADA Convocation will be held on 23 October 2026 for award of degrees/medals/certificates to the graduating students (UG/MS) (Less PhD scholars attending the Master Convocation) (MS students notified upto 30 Sep 2026).
  4. Full Dress Rehearsal (Master Convocation)
    1. Full dress rehearsal for Master convocation will be held on 17 Oct 2026 at 1000 hrs. All Students are requested to be seated in Jinnah Auditorium by 0930 hrs.
    2. All awardees (Outstation) are requested to arrive on 16 Oct 2026 for timely participation in full dress rehearsal.
    3. Students not attending the full-dress rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in Master Convocation Ceremony.
  5. Full Dress Rehearsal (SCME Convocation)
    1. Full dress rehearsal for SCME/SADA convocation will be held on 22 Oct 2026 at 1000 hrs. All Students are requested to be seated in SCME seminar hall by 0930 hrs.
    2. All awardees (Outstation) are requested to arrive on 21 Oct 2026 for timely participation in full dress rehearsal.
    3. Students not attending the full-dress rehearsal will not be allowed to participate in SCME Convocation Ceremony.
  6. Dress Code – Graduating Students/ Guests
    1. Male A dark color Lounge Suit with closed collar/ National dress
    2. Female Decent dress of sober color with proper dark color shoes.
  7. Provision of Students Caps & Gown with Hood
    1. Students will be required to deposit 3000 (2500 security money & 500 rent) in advance on rehearsal day.
    2. The security money will be reimbursed upon return of caps & gowns.
    3. Students are expected to get the gowns pressed for final day.
    4. Note: Rs 200 per day will be charged additionally from third day onwards as fine, if Gown/Cap are not deposited back after convocation day.
  8. Hostel Accommodation for outstation students
    1. Accommodation to students will be provided in TV Lounges of UG Hostels (Male / Female). Rates of Accommodation as follows:-
    2. Accommodation charges with bedding – Rs 2500/- (Per Day Per Student)
    3. Accommodation charges without bedding – Rs 1350/- (Per Day Per Student)
  9. Provision of Day Care Will be provided at NUST Day Care Center after payment of prescribed charges (Charges will be shared later, on the subject of communicated by Main office).
