Fall Semester 2023 for Undergraduate Chemical & Materials Engineering students
On May 2, 2024, a ceremony was held at SCME Seminar hall to honor the exceptional academic accomplishments of students who achieved a GPA of 3.5 and above during the Fall Semester 2023. The Dean’s List Certificate & Award Cheque Distribution Ceremony recognized the dedication and hard work of these outstanding students, inspiring them to continue striving for excellence in their scholarly pursuits.
The event commenced with the recitation of the holy Quran, followed by a welcome address from Prof. Ir Dr Amir Azam Khan, Principal & Dean of SCME. Prof. Khan commended the students for their remarkable achievements and encouraged them to persevere in their academic endeavors.
Several students were invited to share their experiences and reflections on their time at SCME, providing inspiration to their peers and highlighting the importance of dedication and hard work in achieving academic success. Anna Asghar, a student of the Materials Engineering Department, read a beautiful poem titled “High Achiever Memoir,” which she wrote especially for the ceremony.
During the ceremony, certificates were awarded to students in recognition of their academic achievements. Additionally, financial incentives were presented to the top three performers/positions in each batch, further motivating them to excel in their studies.
The event was organized in a befitting manner by Madame Saba Shahid, Deputy Manager Program Coordination, SCME and her team, with active participation of the students. A total number of 115 Students were awarded certificates and 41 Students were awarded cheques for their outstanding performance.
