Research & Innovation Excellence Awards 2022

An award distribution ceremony for the Research & Innovation Excellence Awards 2022 was held on 26 December 2022 to confer the best performers of SCME in research and innovation. The worthy Rector NUST Engr. Javed Mehmood Bukhari HI (M) conferred the awards to Dr. Tayyaba Noor, Dr. Salman Raza Naqvi, Dr. Muhammad Bilal K. Niazi and Dr. Zeeshan Ali. Prof. Dr. Tayyaba Noor has published more than 100 ISI-indexed research articles in the area of catalysis, won 2 research projects, and supervising/co-supervising 8 PhD students. Prof. Dr. Salman Raza Naqvi has published more than 150 ISI-indexed research articles in the area of waste to energy, carbon sequestration, industrial catalysis, won 14 research projects, and supervising/co-supervising 5 PhD students. Further, Dr. Salman has established an industrial laboratory “Alternative Fuels & Sustainability” in collaboration with Tufail chemicals. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Bilal K. Niazi has published more than 100 ISI-indexed research articles in the area of engineering. Prof. Dr. Zeeshan Ali has published more than 45 ISI-indexed research articles in the area of materials for energy storage, won 7 research projects, supervising/co-supervising 2 PhD students and established “Nanoscience and Technology” Lab.
