2-day workshop on the XRD

A 2-day workshop on the XRD was conducted at the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (NUST) on 15th and 16th May 2023. The workshop aimed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of X-ray diffraction (XRD) techniques and their applications in various scientific disciplines.

The attendees were introduced to the theoretical foundations of XRD, exploring topics such as crystallography, diffraction patterns, and the interpretation of XRD data. They also had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art XRD equipment, learning how to set up experiments, collect data, and analyze the resulting diffraction patterns.
