Defence R&D Directorate has been established at NUST to boost defence R&D projects. To acquire first-hand knowledge of in-house defence related research potential and lab capabilities of SCME, Director Defence R&D Brig. Dr. Waseem Khaliq and Deputy Director Cdr. Syed Ali Sarfraz visited SCME on 21st January 2021. Principal SCME, Prof Dr. Amir Azam Khan addressed about SCME and introduced faculty members to the guests, Dr. Sofia Javed presented current defence projects and research labs’ equipment. Interaction session took place after presentations which was followed by SCME labs’ visit.
