Applications are invited for two Research Assistants positions (MS students) at fixed stipend (Rs. 20,000/month) basis under the NRPU project titled “Plant-Wide Energy Analysis of Petroleum Refinery Process: An Integrated Framework of Exergy Analysis, Uncertainty Analysis and Process Optimization” of the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan being executed by the School of Chemical and Materials Engineering (SCME), National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).

Dr. Iftikhar Ahmad (PI, SCME, NUST)

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in MS at NUST and in start of their MS research thesis, with bachelor’s in computer science/Mathematics/Chemical Engineering (16 years education) from HEC/PEC recognized universities/institutes.
• Having experience/knowledge of the following software will be preferred: MATLAB, Aspen HYSYS/PLUS, ANSYS FLUENT and/or COMSOL (CFD).
